Local 5611 met June 2,2026 to elect their first ever Executive Team along with a bargaining committee and Bylaw Committee.
Congratulations to all elected. This is an exciting time for the members of Local 5611 and a beginning to not only building their local but having their voices heard when addressing their working conditions within the hospital.
Over the next year the local and its members will identify bargaining priorities through surveys and conversations, create a strategic plan, attend training and build a local that supports its members, create bylaws and work towards winning their first ever collective agreement.
